That Laptop Has Caused A Whole Lot of Shit In My Life

Have you ever realised the shit that some things or people bring into one’s life?

It is enough that we as human beings need to deal with the unrelenting pressures of life. Think of this, you are rich and is your life any happier, I highly doubt it. In fact to me it isn't shit. Why is that Lucienne?

We live in different cities, towns, suburbs, locations, geographical areas, etc. First comes the cause and then the effect. So who am I to say it isn't shit, guess what, I am no rich brother. My richness is my character, my compassion, my kindness and my bullshit (we all have this shit in our lives whether we like it or not). So to answer and argue my stance, if I was rich would my life be any better?, No, because being rich isn't shit to me.

Dr Myles Munroe states that one’s character should be louder than one’s presence. Can we not agree to that humanistic principal as shown above? Does it boil down to status, class, education, intelligence, and lo and behold, demographic? So why after all of that, invite and allow shit into our lives? Is this human nature or is it scientific, you do not need to be a social scientist to know this.

A wise person once told me, (I have no clue who this is in fact), separate your bills from your investments. Some people in your life are bills and others are investments. Great investments are to see your country prosper, actually do something and stop complaining. These groups of people represent pure shit, they love complaining but actually do nothing. National Health Insurance, Petrol Price Inelastic, Inflation, Unemployment, Taxes, Social Welfare, Marxist State, Liberal, Conservative, Realist, Constructivist, Autocrats, etc. These are just some of the day to day complaints which many argue and whine about.

I respect those real people that actually do something about the shit out there. In almost every newspaper locally I read how shitty our government is. “Boy oh boy”, have we ever bothered actually offering help to the crippling government, with amicable solutions without any private interests at lay or any form of disgust towards the actual great public servants out there?

Is it because my counsellor does not serve my purpose, I have the right to tell him/her they are “incompetent shit”. Think of the psychological damage on that person for years to be told they are incompetent shit, yet everyone that calls them shit, does not know the shit these people or the reality of shit these people have to face. This is a fact, you will hear it across many industries of service across South Africa, my beloved country.

Dr Martin Luther King states “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

Have a look around and see how silent we have become. We make noise for bullshit, but we are silent about the real shit. The shit that makes us great people, the shit we forget to say “thank you Lord Jesus for another blessed day You have spared us”, the shit for not saying “thank you”. The shit for not being kind or compassionate. The shit for being authentic and still giving back. This list is endless to say the least. We as humanity need to change our thinking and start being real about the shit that matters.

My individualism or passion might not matter to you reading this, but make a promise too yourself that you start being vocal about the great things to be thankful for. We can live across cities continents etc., but let us not forget about each other.

I have a Lenovo Laptop and it is the good shit right here. To all the inspiring minds, inspiring readers, inspiring writers and emerges from the developed to the underdeveloped world, personally to me you are the most valuable shit out there. To those that read and view my blogs, you are the shit to me. To all the unconventional and authentic people out there let us always be real as shit.

Disclaimer: I do formally apologise for using the word shit too much, I came off the back from a very shitty experience and felt like putting my shit to paper.
